Wesley Music and Fine Arts Academy, Inc. hires teachers from local towns, universities and schools. They are interviewed tested and challenged to find their best talents in order to pair up the student with the best teacher for their goals as a musician.

| Lisa Davis |
Lisa Davis earned her undergraduate degrees in Music Therapy and Piano Performance Summa Cum Laude from Georgia College & State University in 2003. She also received the Outstanding Departmental Major for Music Therapy. Lisa was an active member of several collegiate organizations including Phi Kappa Phi, Gamma Beta Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, Sigma Alpha Iota, Piano Master Class, and Music Therapy Society, as well as being associated with several performing groups at GCSU. Lisa has been teaching piano lessons for the last 6 years. She has Master’s degrees in Music Therapy and Special Education. In addition to teaching piano lessons, Lisa teaches math and science collaborative classes at a local middle school. |

| Jon Joiner |
Jon Joiner is from Athens, Ga. He has been an active drummer for over 17 years. He has extensive experience teaching many styles of drumming including Marching, Jazz, Rock, Latin and Concert Percussion. Jon started studying music at Georgia College and State University in 2000 where he performed with the GC&SU Jazz Band, Concert Band, Jazz Combo, Pit Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and Pep Band. After studying and performing at GC&SU and traveling to Europe with the college Jazz Band, he then moved back to Athens to pursue his performance career. While there, he established a reputation for being a versatile and dedicated drummer, able to adapt to any and all styles of
music. Shortly after moving to Athens he was asked to join the rock group Moonshine Still, based out of Macon, Ga. Over the next 11 months he traveled the country going to New York, Las Vegas, Miami,
Colorado and California, playing many venues and festivals, including Bonnaroo in the summer of
2006. Joiner is still a very active performer, but he enjoys spending his time during the week
sharing his knowledge with people of all ages. |

| Chris Mitchell |
Chis Mitchell has played the guitar for 9 years and is the lead guitarist for the Christian Rock Band Almega. Chris leads the music at Haddock Methodist Church and the Youth Minister for Sunshine Methodist Church. Chris has been an instructor at Wesley Music and Fine Arts Academy since 2002. |

| Alecia Stringer |
Alecia is a licenced Kindermusik teacher, wife and mother. In May of 2001, Alecia Stringer graduated from Western Kentucky University in Bowing Green, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Music
Education. The Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, University Chorus, and the Choral Society were the organizations in which she was involved. Alecia began teaching in 1999 and has taught over 50 students of many different ages. She has taught in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Madison, Alabama, and in Camden, Smackover, El Dorado, and Magnolia, Arkansas. Alecia was the director of Kids Music Day Camp 2007 at Wesley Music And Fine Arts Academy. |

| Brad Weaver |
Bradley Weaver has played music for more than 20 years, and has been an instructor for more than 10 years. He graduated from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Bradley has been a General Music Teacher for 4 years at Lamar County Primary School in Barnesville, Georgia. Bradley has studied under Dr. Todd Shiver, Dr. Douglas Hill, and Ricky Williams. In highschool and throughout college, he was a member of the Atlanta Olympic Band and the Atlanta Olympic Concert Band. While in this group he had the opportunity to play in the Closing Ceremonies as a Herald Trumpet under conduction of John Williams. In college, Bradley performed and was featured in the Concert Band and Jazz band as well as the Pep Band, Brass Quintet, and Show Choir. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with notable musicians such as Bill Watrous, Byron Stripling, Colonel John Bourgeois, and Chris Vidala. In 2004, Bradley traveled to the Czech Republic and played with the Jazz Band for the Tyniste Jazz Festival.
He has played in several local bands including Blu Voodoo, Thelonius, and the Lamplighters. His Jazz Quartet has opened for the GC&SU jazz band in the Czech Republic as well as playing at Satchmo’s in Hradec Kralowe, and with local gypsy musicians. Bradley’s professional affiliations include: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Music Educators National Conference, and the International Trumpet Guild. Bradley is also a Ferst Foundation “Ferst 50” member for Lamar County. |
